Ah, you remember!

Don't be worried. They are the ones that wronged you! They may surprise you and be nicer and more understanding after your doctor spoke to them.

This sounds like the same assholes I used to work for! Don't pregnant women have any rights in England? I would sue them for harassment! When I was pregnant with my son, I had my 20 week ultrasound to find out the sex... when I came back to work the next day with my ultrasound pictures and was showing them off to everyone around the office, my manager had the nerve to ask me for a note from my doctor stating why I was "out", with the time and date! I was so pissed... as if my ultrasound pictures weren't proof enough as to where I was when I took the time off!! Those pics have my name, the time and the date printed on them!! BITCH!! Why do people have to try and ruin one of the most exciting times in your life? Trust me... I know how you feel and just try to find solace in the fact that you will be holding your precious baby soon... and you will be on maternity leave!

Go for it if you get full sick pay, go back and get signed off.

You don't need all this stress, not good for you or your LO.

Your DR sounds ace.

I'd have loved to have seen managers face when your DR spoke to her.

In this day and age with workers rights etc you'd think companys would be more understanding but its all down to profit and the employee pg or not is just someone to bring in the cash.

Good Luck with your scan.
