list ways how to combat constipation during pregnancy


as for me i found out that drinking coffee every morning helps.it makes me feel better.

Prune juice...it works well for me, just as good as a stool softener. I drink a coffee cup size at bed time.

I also use Docusate Sodium stool softener....one at bed time, when I get tired of prune juice.

Wholemeal bread and bananas seem to have done the trick for me! I tried the prune juice, but my stomach really didn't like it at all! Don't get me wrong, it got my bowels moving, but also made me sick as a dog lol

I don't know about foods that help, but you can pick up Lactulose from the pharmacy, and it's safe for the baby. It's a liquid you take three times a day. I bought it because I had constipation, and then it sorted itself out, but I still have the bottle at home waiting for it to strike again!

branflakes every morning and drinking loads and loads of water... unfortunately this has the side effect of needing to pee every half an hour...
