growth spurts and pains ???

Hello,

I am 18wks tomorrow and yesterday I went home sick as had awful nausea, then later in the day I got terrible pains and felt really unconfortable around my bump. I think it is just going through a growth spurt though, anyone else get this ???

Your exactly the same stage as me.

No I haven't had that but I do get the odd twinge and feeling like an elastic band has pinged just below the skin on my tummy!!

All part of the expansion process!!!

i get this every now and again like twinges of pain and come over feeling icky for just a few mins.

I had this on Tuesday and Wednesday, though not today. I had a pain on the underside left of my belly, that hurt more when I walked. I was clutching it to help soothe the pain, which was like I'd pulled a muscle or something. Then I felt similar pain on the top of my belly

Unlike a twinge though, my pains were really quite uncomfortable, and spanned the whole day, though only when I was walking around, so I spent as much of the day sitting and lying as I could!

I have a little belly, which grows substantially when I eat, but nothing really pegnant yet. I told my husband last night that I think a belly "pop" is on the way, because of the pains I've been getting. I said the baby must be going through a growth spurt, but I don't think he believed me.

Joke's on him when he can no longer fit in our bed, bahahahaha!!!

Im so glad you posted this thread..I just walked from the shop back to my office and had the same pain as Lara describes on the left side at the bottom of my belly....it hurt when i bent down to pick something up aswell as walking...im a bit constipated and as its by the bowel i thought it could be this, but ive felt the baby kick the last 2 days so i think im having a growth spurt too....im sure we will be fine xx

thanks all,

mine have now gone. All very strange, but yesterday I could hardly walk and today I am fine. My bump has definitely got bigger in 48 hours thou, so I think this was a growth spurt.
