Question

is this normal/healthy?

hi ive been reading the post 'how much weight have you gained'
and im just abit worried about my weight gain.
in september (before i was pregnant) i was 10st 6lbs but i weighed myself
yesterday and i was 10st 11lbs.

so since being pregnant i have put 5lbs on.
is this normal,ok and healthy?

i have read somewhere what i should of put on by now and my weight isnt even close. (i cant remember how much it said)

i think they say u should gain roughly 2 stone in pregnancy, but im a tiny person, i weighed in at 6 stone before i was pregnant and im now 20 weeks and have only gained half a stone so i wouldnt worry, i'd check with your midwife just to be sure but if the baby is ok and u feel healthy i dont see a problem!

i willl check with midwife but at my first appointment with her she didnt weigh me she just looked at my records on the computer and that weight was from at least 9 months before that appointment.

she put my weight at 10st 4lbs and i was 10st 6lbs (hope u know what i mean)
but i guess if you go by what the midwife had me down at ive put on 7lbs.

im seeing midwife in a couple of weeks so ill ask her.

i wouldnt worry about it hun, everyone is different and has different body shape/metabolism. I'm sure your midwife would check on you if she thought there was a problem. You should ask at your next appointment if you are worried at least she can put your mind at ease. But seriously i wouldnt worry
