If it's not one thing, it's another.....

Well, today I just found out my husband has shingles (which is like adult chickon pox). I have had chicken pox as a kid but since being pregnant we need to take extra precautions. The doctor told him to make sure that we don't use the same towels, that he wears a shirt at all times, if he scratches the infected area that he needs to wash his hands immediately. So I am going home to wash our sheets (he sleeps with his shirt off). I also rang up my OB and told them about this and my doctor is going to call me back with any other precautions that I may need to know about. So the next 3 or 4 weeks should be interesting. No touching Luckily though, the part that is broke out is just on his left shoulder and comes to the middle of his chest. It's not a really bad break out, but we still can't make contact. I hope he gets better soon, in the mean time, we will be sure to sanatize everything so baby is safe.

Thank you all. I hope he feels better soon too. He is in pain and can't sleep at night. I am constantly washing my hands so he doesn't get me (the baby mostly) sick.
