| Ligament pains I tried to find a thread about this but had no luck..
Is anyone experiencing ligament pains? I am wondering how long they typically have lasted for others?
Also does anyone have fibroid too that have been having really bad pains and how long they tend to last?
The past few days I've had lots of pains. The ligament pains I can handle but theres other pains I've had that I started to get worse that tylenol doesn't help with at all. A NP is supose to call me today to tell me if she wants me to come in and be checked or if she knows of something stronger I can take for them. My doc appointment is tomorrow and I'll for sure talk to him about this. I just can't function when I get these pains. If it wasn't an all day thing I'd be ok.. It's just I've been stuck in bed pretty much from 2 pm on and lastnight I was awake alot dealing with off and on pains. When I am Sitting and standing it makes it worse and more consistent, that's why I lay down and then it's not as consistent...
Oh and the pain thats in the middle is tolerable its the pains on the right side that get real strong.
Can anyone else maybe relate? | | | | Status: Offline

| I posted about this this morning, because that's what I think I'm experiencing, though it's come the morning after me having lifted a heavy bin bag and pulling a muscle in my stomach. The ligament pains are on the other side, and have since spread to the top of my belly. They too are worse when I walk, and I have to clutch my side to stop it from hurting when I'm moving around. My pain disappeared after about 4 hours, but came back this afternoon, worse than before | | | | Status: Offline

| I had a really bad time at about 16 weeks with back ache/pelvic pain. I made something similar to an Emma Jane support belt. It basically held my pelvis in one place. I used it for about 2 weeks and haven't used it since.
I also have a fibroid and have twinges but I don't necessarily think that it caused any pain. I do think that the baby jumping up and down on it didn't help. I also found that laying down took the pain away.
Hope that your MW finds you something to take the pain away. | | | | Status: Offline

| Thanks ladies for responding, I see my doctor today, I'll talk to him and see about any other pain method if any. I went to a nurse practitioner yesterday and she was very informative yet reserved about giving me any other type of pain med other then OTC I was already using. I really hadn't know where my fibroid was and she told me it was on the top of my uterus and slight to the right.
Dinks, the NP suggested I get one of those support bands too. I got one and wouldn't you know it, it took the pain away while standing! Guess I got me a new best friend while walking about hahaha.. It's not as comfortable while sitting but it works great for standing and walking!
The baby is doing fine, we got to hear the heartbeat and LO kicked the doppler LMAO was kinda funny made me and her jump laughing. It's the fibroid thats causing all the pains.. | | | | Status: Offline

| I posted yesterday about a severe pain in my low right abdomen. I think it will be on page 2 now.
It starts 'in agony...'
turns out I have pulled muscles around my uterus.

| aww Kay.. Hugs lady.. I was told mines gonna maybe get worse as we grow. I was given some tyl/W codeine but to only use it if I am in so much pain I cant stand it. I am feeling fine now, I did have to get a support brace though to use while walking around. | | | | Status: Offline
