pain when i wee? sorry if tmi x

hi. i dont think ive got a uti because ive got no other symptoms but when i need a wee i get kind of like a dull ache at the very bottom of my tummy and it continues to hurt a for a few minutes after ive had a wee. Im thinking its probably because when my bladder is full it kinda squishes things and moves things and then when my bladder is empty again things have to move back, does that sound silly??

happygal I have the same but not everytime I wee!? Weird does feel like previous UTI's I've had but no where near as bad. Do they routinly check for UTI at the midwives or is it just protein?

i get this aswell, dont think its urine infection cause when iv been checked its always been clear. xx

Hey hun id ont want to worry you but this is EXACTLY how mine started - was mild at first, more annoying than anything then one night i went for a wee and was actually doubled over in pain for hours with it as my bladder was just so so painful and i was scared to drink anything as it would make me need to use the loo again.
I would say go to the docs for piece of mind - i have been prescribed antibiotics and my urine was sent away for tests and it showed 'something' but the doctor wanted to be sure i was on the right medication.
I drink i glass of cranberry in the morning and before bed i try to avoid acidy drinks and foods as this can aggrivate it. Is totally different to any other UTI ive had like cystitus but its still not nice.
Hope yours doesnt get as bad as mine did

It can cause prem labour, thats why it always needs sorting too xx

i think aswell as getting it checked out, the other thing you can do to try keep anything like his away is drink tons of water

not the most exciting thing to do but iv been trying my hardest to drink atleast 5 pints a day (not very nice at night when im practically in the loo more than in my bed) but its a good thing to do. xx
