Had my triple bloods done yesterday and now I cant stop worrying about the results! I knew I would worry about them but me and my oh wanted to know if there was anything wrong so we could decide what we would do.
Has anyone had abnormal triple test results then went on to have amino or other tests and the baby was fine?!
Does anyone know how common it is to get abnormal results? and what they check in your blood to determine risk of DS etc.

The triple test is done by measuring the levels of 3 hormones compared to the number of weeks you are according to your scan. It is only meant to pick up 60-70% of Downs Syndrome babies anyway. Some people seem to get really good triple test results and others strangly low even though their baby is fine. I don't know why this happens. Even if you get a result below 1:250 and have an amnio the chances are your baby is still fine
