Getting comfy at night... HELP!

Its becoming really difficult for me to get comfortable at night now, with my bump getting big (as you may have seen in the bumps thread) its rather big for 18 weeks, and also with the fact that i've been suffering with backache and really bad heartburn at night. I was wondering if anyone has any tips of how could I get more comfortable at night eaiser? Thanks everyone xxxxx

I'm the same hun. I'm finding it difficult and keep waking up in the night, i get backache and cramp in my legs. You could try rennies or gaviscon for your heartburn, i also find that if i have a hot milky drink before bed like a cup of tea or hot choc that seems to ease the heartburn quite alot. As for getting comfortable i've been sleeping with a pillow inbetween my knees and resting just under my bump, it seems to help a little. x

thanks hon. I was thinking about getting one of them pregnancy body pillows, but I share a bed with my OH so im not sure how practical that would be. If anyone has one, could you let me know how big it really is and how it works in a bed with a partner.

thanks xxxxxx

It's getting awful for me too, mostly back pain on my right side. I wake up with it like this all the time!

I've been the same these past few days, really struggling to sleep and waking all the time. I haven't found pillows help but I've bought a wedge from TK Maxx today. I'll let you know how I get on tonight.

I have one and I love it! I wish I'd bought it much earlier because I sleep much better now that I'm using one. There are different types so you can find one that's less cumbersome sizewise if you're in a smaller bed.

I can't tell you what it's like from personal experience but a lot of ladies here recommend this one: http://www.dreamgenii.com/
