| Hi ya hun, I just wrote out a whole message and my computer froze and I lost it . I just wanted to send you some hugs I have never been pregnant before but I know what it feels like to constantly worry about every twinge and ache. Ive had a lot of stress recently, and my mum has upset me on the phone for the umpteenth time and now im twinging like hell down there. Its probably not even related to my emotional state, but of course Im going to think it is. Hold tight hun and stay positive, and before you know it you will have a nice healthy baby in your arms. xxx | | | | Status: Offline

| Jackie..20 years ago I gave birth to a still born baby boy at 26 weeks..I received dreadful after care..thats another story..but when I fell pregnant again..I became a wreck as I hit 26 weeks..compounded by being hospitilised at that time with suspected PRM..I was convinced history was going to repeat itself...but it didnt..I was fine and sent home and my now 18 year old daughter was a week overdue.
my last two pregnancies ended at 16 and 23 weeks, so this week has been difficult for me and if everything is ok..I know 23 weeks will be terrifying..but I think its perfectly normal to feel this way...are you being closely monitored? | | | | Status: Offline

| Hiya hun, ive not been through what you have but i have had 3 premmies, born at 35 weeks, 33 weeks and the last was 31 weeks so obviously they are getting earlier.
Ive been told to expect another prem and i will be fretting too.
Have you discussed with the docs?
Hope all goes well xxx | | | | Status: Offline

i didnt have any aftercare when we lost douglas, we went home just hours after and that was it. was given leaflets for sands and had some phonecalls from a lady at the hospital but that was it. i wasnt even allowed to get a prescription from the chemist the week i gave birth to him using my maternity ex because i wasnt entitled anymore as he was no longer with us.
im being monitered closely this time, iv seen consultant atleast once a month and been scanned regulary. i have an appointment next thursday to measure my cervix.
im just so scared

Hope all goes well xxx | i have told them how im feeling, the consultant is really really good, he told me their is a bed at the hospital if i wanted to stay their because of the worrying and also because of the bleeds iv had in this pregnancy (thats not what i want to do though) he has been very possitive about this pregnancy aswel but i just cant snap out of it.
hope everything goes well for you too xx

| i am totally the same jackie, i just want to make it to 24. then 26 weeks anything beyond that is a bonus, every pregnancy is different, thats what i keep being told and to think of losing another baby sends a dread into my head i dont even want to think about.......... take it easy, relax as much as you can, and i have every faith that you will be fine this time....we all have eachother for support on here, i cant wait until all of us, those who have lost angel babies, and those that havent, are holding our babies and we can remember these times xxx | | | | Status: Online
