| For the sore throat you can gargle apple cider vinegar and warm water, it should also help the cough. It didn't help my cough when I had one though but it did help the sore throat. You can also use regular white vinegar if you don't have the apple cider vinegar. You can also add honey to it but I didn't have any. | | | | Status: Offline

| paracetamol is really all you can take im afraid. You could try hot water with honey & lemon, it helps to soothe your throat. Steam is good for a blocked nose! hope you feel better soon xxx | | | | Status: Online

| Just thought I'd drop a little message here... I went to the pharmacy the other day feeling full of Flu... Picked up a box of lemsip, read the blurb... NOTHING about pregnancy on the box whatsoever... luckily, I asked the Chemist at the back and was told I couldn't take it, apparently because of the decongestant... got sent away with a box of Paracetamol. Grrrr. | | | | Status: Offline

| Hi, a strong mixture of honey, lemon juice and hot water is great, when you take it with a paracetamol it is much better than cold remedies. rest up and keep your head elevated to stop sinus congestion getting worse. Breathing in steam is good, warm baths and sympathy... I hope it clears up it is horrible! | | | | Status: Offline

| VICKS!!! Get your back, chest, and throat smothered in the stuff and you'll be able to breathe in no time at all. I had a stinker of a cold right when I found out I was pregnant and was recommended this. I checked and it's safe to use. It also eases a cough - magic stuff xx | | | | Status: Offline
