Just plain RUDE!

I asked one of the guys in the office as he was walking by if he would mind helping lift a load of magazines off the floor in the cupboard which i needed and he replied "umm, arrr... sorry i cant" and then just went out the door upstairs!!!

Its not like i needed him to break his back and spend hours moving things! Just 1 bundle of magazine from the floor to my desk would have taken all of 20 seconds!

I actually couldnt believe it and to top it off i THOUGHT this guy was my mate at work!!!!!!!
Oh and this guy also had the cheek to tell me off to eating a pot noodle last week as it wasnt good for the baby!! WTF!?

xx

thats the worst thing for me, i always used to change them and its kinda an unwritten rule in our office that if you finish the last of the water from one, you change it.. dont just leave it.. i hate having to ask someone to do it for me.. i feel i have to explain that im not supposed to lift heavy things. otherwise they'll just think im being lazy

What a complete jackass. At least now you have confirmation of what a mate he isn't.

It's silly that you should have to explain yourself at all. Everyone should know you can't and shouldn't even be trying to lift and haul those things around on your own when you're pregnant.

The next time someone expects you to do it, just tell them to A) Be ready to dial for an ambulance for you and B) Know where the mop is because when you drop the water bottle, they're on cleanup duty!
