Wow I don't know yet. I love hearing other people's names. They're always so beautiful. I then look at my list and think I'm nowhere close.

DH and I haven't really sat down and discussed it yet. We've still got PLENTY of time. I can see it's going to be an interesting experience. He's more traditional then me. He also seems to think we should use family names which I'm against.

I like the following names. We'll be giving the baby one or two middle names so we'll play around with what sounds good but anyways:

Girl:
Kaitlynne, Ashley, Amelia

Boy:
Ethan, Daniel

Those are my faves at the moment. I also like James. I don't know if it'll be used. I just think Ethan James sound good together. *shrug*

We chose the name Hannah and my mom chose the middle name Michelle. She'll also have a Chinese middle name (but I can't spell it )

I am pretty sure I am having a girl. Trying to pressure hubby into accepting the name Alexia and calling her Lexie for short. I love the name and it's unique

Also when deciding a name, I go by the meaning of the name too.

Still have to figure out a middle name

not many people spell caitlyn that way, my partners youngest is called caitlyn, she always gets upset when we see named cups and t-shirts cause they are spelt caitlin.

im hopefully having a girly, lilly-jade
lilly because i love the flower and jade so we can nickname her LJ
if was a boy we would have called him jamie ryan
jamie after my OH and ryan after his OH's son.

i did like eve, lola, and modesty for girls,
and devon for a boy.

For a girl; Lailah Marie. Lailah means conception angel, the one who protects the baby in the womb. Fitting because we have lost many children. Marie is my middle name.

For a boy; My hubby loves Gabriel John, Gabriel because it is an angel, and John is his middle name. If we had a son December 15th, he wanted to name our soon Gabriel Jacob Alexander. Jacob was our premature son, what do you think? I'm torn!!!!

Really like your name meanings Carley, Marie is my middle name too and means wanted one which I love

I think Gabriel John; I would leave Jacob as having been the name of your premature son...

I keep an eye on the birth announcements in our local paper and try to avoid all the common names. Easier when they start school, lots of Emilys, Jacks and Joshuas in my daughters class. Mind you if I really liked a name i would still choose it regardless. I like more traditional names and think its great if it has a special meaning in your family.
