Swine flu vaccine?

Hi i was wondering if many people have had or are going to have the swine flu vaccine? Is anyone else worried about having it? I'm not sure whether to or not. On the one hand it's protecting you and the baby but on the other it's not been properly tested! How do we know it's not going to cause harm in the future? Please help me!!!!!!

I have mine booked - wasn't going to but after talking to my midwife changed my mind.

She would not say yes or no to having it (guess can't 'incase' something goes wrong) but explained about complications she has known with reguards and finished by saying she was aware that she had not answered my question however she could safely say that if she was currently pregnant she would be first in line.

I feel exactly the same way! It's developmental problems that I am really worried about!

I've researched it and stuff and shit scared of getting swine flu
but I've decided im not going to have it.
They said that a few women had it before they fell pregnant or while they were pregnant and didnt know it and they had healthy babies.
But they cant turn around and say its 100 percent safe.
At the end of the day I'd never forgive myself if something was to go wrong or I was to go into early labour etc.
And all these people saying different things on GMTV is annoying me and on the news they cant seem to make up there mind.
I'm just going to eat healthy and take extra vits and stay away from people lol

I had mine.

I asked myself what is more likely.....
a) the baby will get swine flu and end up very poorly in hospital?
or
b) the baby will suffer from some kind of unknown side effect from the vaccine?

I decided that a) was a lot more probable.
