I suffered with this too!!! Although I thought it was just me or a pregnancy symptom I had no idea.

On the huge upside, as soon as baby is born....back to normal. I know that's a bit obvious lol, but I remember thinking at the time I'd never walk/sleep without pain ever again

I also hve this i had it in my last pregnancy from about 20 weeks i thought last timw was bad but OMG having it last time is nothing compared to this time.

Ive had it from 16 weeks this time and im pratically nearly in tears everday and in the night when ive been sat down takes me ages to get back up...im now 21 + weeks and i really dont know how im gonna manage the next 19 weeks i mean the pain is so severe now what am i gonna be like nearing the end my hospital dont sem to give a shit when i tell them they say the only cure is having the baby and give me no help or support well they didnt last time.

I woke up to go loo in middle of night and i couldnt even move i was in that much pain i had to roll myself over and when im walking there so much discomfort....not like i can have much rest i have 3 other kids plus i share school run each week with hubby and mother in law ...i just feel like crying

I have this but will not get chance to take to my midwife until the 9th of December. I am worried because if I feel this bad at 16 weeks and it started a few weeks ago I can not imagine how bad it will get. I feel so silly talking to people about it that have no idea what it is because they just think you can not handle pregnancy and are making something up when in reality it is so painful!

I'm not due to see my midwife until the 12th December, but I texted her about it yesterday. Within a few hours, she'd sent me a text saying she'd do the physio referral when she's in the surgery today and even rang me back after I'd texted her back asking about getting signed off sick. Maybe I have a good midwife, but I don't think it'd hurt for you girls to get in touch with your midwife to see if she can at least get the physio referral moving along so that you may even have that by the time you next see her. If you can't contact her, maybe try whoever coordinates the midwives in your area or your GP even.

I have thought about getting in contact before my appointment and probably should really.

My husband is good so far but I have had back problems because of me hips before so that may be why. I think women who have had babies who did not have this problem are the worst as they will say it is just stretching pains and they your over reacting (which actually makes me feel almost ashamed for having a painful problem). I am dreading having to tell work and am starting to think I may have to go on maternity leave 11 weeks before instead of my planned 6 weeks. I only work part-time but I can no longer walk to work very well and if it gets to the point I have to get a taxi to and from work it would not make financial sense not to go on maternity leave as early as I can.
