Im on daily injections to thin my blood all the way through the pregnancy due to a previous blood clot, is this something that will resolve itself or do i need to worry?? xx

I was told yesterday too my placenta was lying low at my 19w ultrasound and have since kind of freaked myself out over placenta previa. I don't see my doctor until next Wednesday.

they should re scan u a couple of times as in most cases the placenta will move up away from the cervix as ur bump gets bigger. If it does not move by 34 weeks i think then u have no choice but to have a section xxx

mine is low too, 5 mm off my cervix at my 21 week scan. they tested the veins/arteries and none of the baby's heart beat was in any of them, only my blood so that is good. Won't cause undo bleeding at birth. They will rescan at 32 weeks to make sure it has moved.

With yours covering the cervix, did they tests all the veins and arteries for whose they are? If too many are the babies, they would probably do a c-section but that wouldn't be the end of the world.

Thanks ladies Im hoping it moves too because an emergency section anytime before 36wks is not an option whilst im on the blood thinning injections ive been told they cant perform an epidural till the injection wears off which takes 24hrs, so fingers crossed at my 28wk scan its moved xx

I had this at my 20 week scan but was told it would most likely move up out of the way in time for the birth. I'll have another scan in the new year to check the position.

How did they check the veins prairie???
