I think it may be something to do with my umbilical cord!
OMG me too! I still have no idea what it is and have also had no luck getting it out with tweezers! It's so creepy Good to know it's not just me with strange belly button issues.

It's funny though. Almost everyone here have this phobia against their bellybuttons popping. I'm with you lol.

However isn't it funny how while we're so worried about it there are always those well meaning relatives and friends that "can't wait for you to get an outie"
As if they want to see you suffer and poke fun at you.

I'm starting to think that maybe I should trade in all my relatives for nicer ones LOL mine are definately like that.

This thread has got me laughing!!! I'm so glad it's not just me!!

Does anyone know if you have a choice about weather your baby has a innie or outie? I'm sure my mum told me years ago it is to do with how they tie the cord.

I want my baby to have an innie!!

Mine popped early! I HATE it! Not only is gross to look at, but it hurts! My BF always wants to touch it and it freaks me out!! Just having my shirt rub against it makes me cringe... I have been putting band aids on it when I wear tight shirts. Oh, BTW...it did NOT pop when I was preggers with my first son. But this time around, it popped out in the 4th month...weird!
