feeding chair / rocking chair recommendations

Please can anyone recommend a nursing or rocking chair. I want to buy one for the nursery.

I found a nice used wooden one on sale and bought that because I don't really like the look of the gliders, but I think just about any will do as long as you like it.

I bought the Poang rocking chair from Ikea. It's really comfy - I'm using it already to ease my bad back! It was £95 at teh Nottingham store.

I tried out all the rocking chairs in Ikea (8 in total) and this was the comfiest and rocks the most.

i like the dutailer gliders, so expensive but got mine on ebay.
comes with the gliding footstool which is a godsend if you got a sore back, and the gliders was a safer option as glides and doesnt rock.
just my opinion tho x

Its a glider so not sure if its any help but its fab and i love going into the nursery to- be and just sitting on it to read, OH loves it too lol and i normally catch him in it chilling out after a shower reading the paper!!

I was going to recommend this too! I think you buy the chair base for £45 and then there is a choice of covers. It is sooo comfy and sort of bounces nicely in a controlled manner

Here is the one I was going to get, but wont be now ive tried one similar out in a shop, made me feel abit sick the rocking motion lol.

I do have dizziness problems tho so that probably wont help, shame as the chairs are so comfy! and not to low down either, so easy to get up out of.
Some of them you can buy with brakes on, so they dont rock all the time.

another Poang fan!!

We got the plain black cover so the whole thing cost £75, great chair its sooo comfy!
And it can be moved to the living room once its not needed in the nursery, woop!

i got a old fashioned wooden rocking chair for last pregnancy and i LOVED it.. but its a case of try and find a 2nd hand one i guess!! xx
