Question

It hurts really bad....

This morning I felt fine until I got to work and all of the sudden, my stomach started cramping really bad. It wasn't in just one general spot either, it was all over. It didn't hurt as bad if I was sitting and not moving, but once I got up and walked it would hurt really bad. Then after about an hour and half it went away. Right before lunch at 1:00 that same feeling came back, but this time I have felt a few movements from the baby. The cramping feels like if you are out running and you get that annoying pain in your side and it hurts worse when you breathe, that it is the best way I can describe the pain. It is still all over my stomach and now it hurts sitting down or moving around. Could this be stretching or should I be really concerned and phone the doctor?

The pain you're describing I get fairly often, usually because I've been over doing it (& as pregnancy progresses it take less to over do it). It is just stretching ligments but it can REALLY hurt & I've found they can last for a few hours.

To be on the safe side though you should probably speak to a doctor and see if they feel you should get checked out incase it is something else.

Thank you, I thought it could be stretching. That pain has gone away now for the most part but I still feel kind of blah.. I just took a 30 min. lunch break so I can get out of here at 4:30. I just want to go home and lay down for the rest of the evening. I think that if I feel this way tomorrow, I will call the doc. Thank you for your response.

I would call just to be safe. It probably is just stretching, but better to ask than worry.

It sounds like stretching, but I'd call as well. Never hurts to set your mind at ease

So far I feel better today, I have felt some discomfort but nothing like yesterday. If I feel anything that I felt yesterday I will ring the doc, I just didn't want to go in for a false alarm of any kind. I felt Peyton moving yesterday so I figured he was okay. I am waiting for him to move today, hopefully he moves around pretty soon. Thank you all for your replies.
