I'm Currently Feeling: | A few Things So, I just looked at my ticker and it seems I've gone up a box! Only two more to go! WOO HOO!!! Was wondering when that would happen. I only have one more day left in the second tri, not counting today!!! I go for my second glucose tolerance test today. I had one at 16 weeks cause I'm overweight and GD runs in my family, but it came out with perfect levels so I'm SO hoping this one comes out the same. I'm really worried that I'm going to end up with it and I really REALLY don't want GD. The best thing for this post...I was laying in bed last night, trying to fall asleep and as usual, I had my hand on bump...all of a sudden I felt this push/kick/roll all at the same time. It felt like her knee, could feel her leg all bent and stuff and I'm pretty sure that had I been looking I would've seen it move across my stomach. I just got a really stupid smile on my face. It was the coolest feeling EVER. Lastly...bump got touched last night. It wasn't quite as bad as I thought it would be...I did manage to hold my tongue at least. We were at our firehouse for our weekly meeting and one of the guys comes up to say hi to me..then bends down and says hi to bump and starts rubbing it...now, I don't really know this guy very well and I HATE being touched by ANYONE, but seeing as he's a fellow firefighter I couldn't very well say anything. Then one of the girls comes up to me at the end of the meeting and goes, "WOW, you've popped...having twins or what?" WTF??? Then she starts rubbing and poking at bump. SHeesh...I don't know her hardly at all either, but again..fellow FF, couldn't say anything...totally wanted to though. ARGH! They're lucky they weren't strangers cause I would've went off, LOL. Anywho..sorry for the novel, but thought I'd throw them all in one post instead of a bunch! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Good luck on your GD test.
Those kinds of movements will only get better. My DH and I love to watch my belly now in the evenings. It cracks us both us.
I get that people think they are being funny with comments like 'oh twins?' but really it is just rude. I think only preganant women get that.
As for the touching. Well I would not have liked it either, but at least it was not some random stranger. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | People can be so ignorant LOL
Thank God I haven't been poked or prodded yet, and I still wear heavy coats for winter so I don't get the when are you due commentary. I suppose in the next month or so I'll start getting that.
People around here must just think I've gained a ton of weight over the winter LOL.
I had my GD test Monday (thread on it got lost in the hack, and I didn't bother reviving it). Everything came out very normal so YAY!
Now if I can just do as well avoiding the pre-eclampsia I had with the first one.
Good luck on your test, and we'll see you in Third trimester within a day or two |
