| Cushioned kicks Last night i was led in bed and she started kicking, and i realized they feel far back, will this be because i have an anterior placenta? | | | | Status: Online

| I don't know but maybe the baby is facing backwards and kicking towards your spine rather than your belly? I sometimes feel them right inside so assume this is what is happening. | | | | Status: Online

| I have an anterior placenta too and my Baby's kicks feel cushioned, although they are getting stronger every day. Hubby still can't feel them though | | | | Status: Offline

| As Greenlady said it could be because bubs is kicking towards your back, they feel very 'cushioned'. I too have an anterior placenta, but ive started feeling kicks quite firmly now, but with Evie I had an anterior placenta and barely ever felt her kick , so i think it depends on bubs too. xx | | | | Status: Offline

| Hey, sometimes kicks/movements feel quite 'deep' inside.... I'm not sure if it's her kicking towards my back or something? This usually happens when they are low down - when she moves higher up I can see my belly move! | | | | Status: Online

I have 'high anterior placenta', which meant I have been showing forever, but hoping it protects me from kicks in my ribs etc haha
Ive decided not to be worried. I hear her HB once a week with my doppler and feel her wriggling, that will do for me | | | | Status: Offline

| It probably meant the baby was facing your back instead of your front. I found out monday that I have an anterior placenta too but when he's facing the front I can definitely feel and see the kicks well! | | | | Status: Offline
