Sharp Pain -need some advice

Morning everyone,

Hope someone can help and give me some advice on this.....

Just over the last couple of days very occasionally i get a really really sharp pain like a bluntish knife being jabbed into me (just above the pubic bone i guess and to the right a bit) is this normal? I usually get 3 or 4 sharp pains they only last a split second but omg they are painful, it makes me jump or wake up and almost cry, but just as quickly as it comes it goes again....Do you think lumpy might be laying on a nerve ? Has anyone else experienced this?

Thanks in advance

xx

Yup i had this in my second trimester, i got so worried and rang my midwife. She told me it was round ligament pain. It does stop you in your tracks so its quite scary but its fine

Just ring your midwife for a peace of mind

Great thanks for all the responses it is so reassuring to know i'm not over reacting and it is completely normal. It only seems to happen to me when i am sitting still which is odd, but thank you ladies for putting my mind at ease
