hi girls,

im due to have my scan at 21 weeks roughly and im gonna be 19 weeks tomorrow.
but im just wondering how long it took for you to get your appointment?
the hospital write a letter to tell you when its going to be but i still havnt received a letter yet.
last time (my 12 week scan) the letter came 2 days before my scan date.
is it usually that late to come through?
i dont mind as i dont work but hubby needs to book the day off to come with me and he cant really turn to work and say i need the day off in 2 days time.

am i just worrying too much?
i just dont want 21 weeks to go by and ive been forgotten about.

I got given the appt for the 20 week scan when i was at the hospital having my 12 week scan. They may do it differently in different places though. Check your pregnancy notes see if they've written the date down. Or give you midwife a call and ask, she could maybe ring the hospital for you.

i would phone the midwife but the phone number i have is only an answer machine and they only check it a few times a week.
ill have a look at my maternity notes but i dont think its been written down.

Or go on your hospital website and find the antenatal phone number, tell them the situation and hopefully they might find out for you

I was booked in for 20 week scan after the 12 week scan. I would call the antenatal clinic/appointments. Good luck

im not aware of having been told at my 12 week scan, have they forgotten about me?

I was also given my 20 week scan date and 36 week hospital appointment when i went for my 12 week scan. You should chase it up hun but they probably do things differently in your area.

i ended up calling them and got appointment through for when i was 22 weeks. just phone hun.
