What week is the 19/20/21 week scan in UK ?

Halo lovely ladies,

I was just wondering whether anyone knows when I'll have my 19 / 20 / 21 week scan ? it seems to vary on weeks. I really hope to have it at 19 weeks as I am 19 weeks on the 19th of dec ! I really want to have the scan before christmas ! but who knows, anyway just wondered if anyone knows the NHS week for definate.

its usually 20 weeks hun but it varies around the uk as it depends when the hospital can fit u in x x

It depends when they can fit you in

I had my 20 week scan at 20+4 this time and 21+5 last time! xxx

It is called the anomoly scan. It depends how booked they are. They try for 20 weeks, mine was 20 weeks 1 day. Did you not book it at your 12 week scan? I had a consultation after my 12 week scan and they booked my 20 week scan and my 34 week scan (have a high BMI so that is why I have one at 34 weeks). Maybe you should bring this up at the next scan. But every area runs things differently

Mine will be 20+1, think it just depends when the hospital has appointments free x Hope you get it before xmas though, what a lovely present x

Mine will be at 20+3, agree that it depends when they can fit you in - did they not book you in when you had your 12 week scan?

Hiya hun, mine was booked after my 12 weeks scan. I have it when i am 20+1. I think it just varies on when they can fit you in xxx
