16/17 weekers???

How are you ladies feeling?

I am so worried as usual...its my first pregnancy and i just dont feel pregnant at all.

I felt a few very light flutters about 2 weeks ago but since then i have not felt a THING!

Im really worried now... i went for my 16 week appointment and the stupid mid-wife didnt even check the babies hb which was so dissapointing. She didnt even feel my uterus

I just dont know what to think now.. i dont even feel pregnant and cant feel baby.. i do have a small bump though.

Are any other 16/17 weekers just NOT feeling preggy?

Reassurance required urgently.

xxx

Hi hon
I'm 18 weeks so a little bit further on but hopefully can reassure you!

I felt exactly the same as you then (still do now to be honest). No symptoms, no flutters, nothing.

I know from reading other ppls posts on here that its very normal not to have felt bubs and not feel 'preggy' at this stage.

Relax hon, am sure bubs is cooking just fine

I am 17 weeks tomorrow, definitely have a bump, have put on 11 pounds but don't feel that pregnant strangely enough as haven't felt any movement or really had any symptoms.

hey!

just a bit of reassurance from a new mummy

I had my first flutterings at 15 weeks then nothing until 21/23 weeks. Didn't feel particularly preggas at quite a few points in the 41 weeks

I don't feel very pregnant either! Especially in the morning! I have felt little flopping feelings a few time but not enough to assure me its not gas! Why didn't she let you listen to the heartbeat?? JEEZ! I had to ask actually she wasn't going to do it either and then made me promise I wouldn't freak if she didn't hear anything. But I think what you are feeling is completely normal! Most women don't feel baby until much much later, so try and not worry. try and enjoy this time that you are feeling well because once we all get bigger feeling this good will be a thing of the past

I've been told it's normal not to fel any more flutters for a while after the first couple, and the signs that your belly is still growing is reassuring; it means the baby is growing too.

If you have any queries, remember you can ask your midwife.
