It's up to you if you want to carry on or not with the job...if you think you can handle it. But if your health is at risk, or you are passing out while at the desk, you may want to rethink it. If the fainting spell was a one time thing and you feel you can carry on without it happening again, as long as you think you can handle things go right ahead i say. But if it happens again, i would think people would be a bit concerned, especially your employer and doctor... and you should look after yourself.

How about talking it over with your boss again. Maybe if you took a few more breaks, or had the option to lie down somewhere for half an hour during the day, then your boss and your GP would be happier about you carrying on for a bit longer.

If you feel you can manage it then stay, but if you don't then leave. I dont think I would be in the position financially to finish right now but you do need to put yours and babys health first.

I dont think you can start mat leave till 29 wekks though? Do you not get sick pay?
