Given Permission by my MIL.....*FUMING*

This afternoon my MIL decides to call me, as she does everyday (wish she wouldnt lol) and starts asking me about baby names and due dates, My mum died in 2001 and I have been umming and ahhing for a while about wether to use her name as a middle name for our little girl or not... well this afternoon MIL says...

"its ok if you want to use "name" as a middle name, I think it would be nice, I think you should"

To which I replied well we arent sure yet for various reasons, and I got this response
"well you have my permission ha ha"

ERM What The Fudge?!?! I dont need her Effing Permission thank you very much!!

She then started going on about she wants the baby to either be 4 days early or 7 days late... Erm you dont get to choose love! lol. 4 days early because its her dead brothers birthday or 7 days late because its my hubbys birthday....

REALLY doing my nut in now!! I was in such a good mood today and now Im really pissed off again, I have my midwife appt in the morning and i reckon my blood pressure is going to be through the roof lol xx

Im sure she knows how annoying she is being lol, I cant keep going whinging to hubby, I dont feel its fair to put him in the middle as such.
She doesnt half get on my nerves tho!!
She comes out with some stupid comments sometimes, obviously doesnt think before she speaks.
She rings me EVERY day..To check that im ok and see if I need anything...Which is lovely of her but its like an hour phone call everyday and then even sometimes they just "pop" in on their way home...Can get a bit much! xx

sorry your having trouble

When i first found out i was pregnant my MIL called me twice a week just to check i was ok, bless! She hasnt called me since we told her all was ok at the 20 week scan, that was over 2 weeks ago. I have heard nothing from her and she hasnt even come over to see us, knowing full well im too tired to go out to see them in the evening!!

I'm really sorry you're having trouble with her...but your post made me laugh...4 days early or 7 days late??? Make sure you make a note of that...because obviously you have so much control over giving birth that you can pop the baby out on the given days!

My MiL doesn't really like me that much I dont think but is having to get over it (1st grandchild and all)...she told my DH that I should 'get over' my MS like normal mothers and asked 'didn't I know that most normal people had gotten over it by 14 weeks?'...

xxx
