| I would imagine if you called your work and told them you suspect you may have swine flu, they wouldn't want you to come in either. | | | | Status: Offline

| That seems like a bit of an administrative BS given that you're pregnant and might have Swine Flu...I would go to Emerg and get checked out/put on anti virals ASAP. I would not wait until tomorrow. | | | | Status: Offline

| If you truly think you have the swine flu than you shouldn't go to work...it's not responsible to pass it on knowingly especially to such vulnerable people. The other thing I wanted to mention was I was told pregnant women are not to have tamiflu and would be given rulenza instead. I had the flu a few months back and they said it was swine flu but I refused medication because they refused to swab me to be sure..but anyway my gp said i was definately not to have tamiflu so maybe something to ask about before you take something. | | | | Status: Offline

I rang work, and im not so worried now, i just didnt want them to be angry that id gone in, anyways they said i can go as long as my symptoms dont progress, so im happy with that i dont think i have swine flu, but im a worrier and my concern is did the people whove died think they had it either
Thanx for the advice girls | | | | Status: Online

| I have the Swine Flu right now.. I would be concerned if you have a sore throat cough/fever/aches/headache as these are symptoms. I am not sure about the Tamiflu thing because I just got a prescription for it and at my OB's office they were giving the Tamiflu prescription to everyone. I know that almost everyone needs to be off work for 5-7days that has it because you are contagious for that long. Good luck | | | | Status: Offline
