my friend is in labour....argh!

my friend and neighbour is due on nov 23 and is now 8hrs into labour! She was induced this morning as the hosp decided she was ready and bean was fully cooked! I just spoke to her OH and she said she's in pain and is still only 4cm...has been since midday. Bless her.... She says it's bloody awful! Just think ladies...our turn soon!! X

Awww.. good luck to your friend. I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!! I know it's painful (I've done it 4 times before already).. but it's so so so worth it!

Aww, so scary and so wonderful at the same time. The thing is, when its happening, its happening and you just have to deal with it as it comes. This is a really hypocritical thing for me to say as I am such a panicker and this is my first pregnancy so I have no idea what Im taking about! Wishing your friend all the best and I hope you get to have a cuddle with the new wee one very soon, you'll probably get super hormonal but you get to practise your mumma skills without having the sleepless nights!

I'm quite looking forward to it too...I know it's gkingbtp be the most painful experience in my life but look what you get at the end of it!!! I can't wait to hold baby....oooooooh so exited! I reckon it will sink in for me then!! Thanks girls, will pass on all your best wishes x
