cream cheese


hey .. anyone know why we arent suppose to eat soft cheese while pregnant?.. just that im craving some cream cheese at the mo lol

Is because of the possible risk of listeria....soft cheeses like Brie, Camembert etc aren't suitable to eat but not Philadelphia and that sort of thing as these are pasteurised and completely safe to eat

yeah phillidelphia, dairylea etc are fine, its just un pasturised cheeses like brie

Yep, you can eat cream cheese as it's pasteurised. It's one's that are unpastuerised or mould ripened that have to be avoided xx
