Hi , I have had similar to what you describe and have been off work for 3 weeks as being on my feet all day were making it bad , dr advised to take it easy and it has made it much better , also got a refferal for phisio as condition called spd / pelvic girdle pain can be the cause and only gets much worse hope this info helps a little xx

I would get that checked by the dr or mw, just in case its spd, that can be really painful and require physio....Dont wan to scare you though hun, I have had ot with every pregnancy so far....When you are standing though put weight on both your kegs equally if you can that should help to ease the apin a little when your standig for a long time......

Make sure you tell the physio about your concerns - I'm sure whoever the M/W has referred you to will be able to design exercises which are suitable for you and shouldn't place any additional strain on your body. Make sure you also tell the physio if you experience any discomfort during the sessions..

Hope you feel better soon

they can give you very gentle exercises and maybe even a support belt...i have had spd with both my DDs and it can get really really bad. Just make sure that you let them know about your concerns good luck xxx

I have the same thing!
I overdid it with shopping on Saturday and could barely go up the stairs. After that I was also really stiff in bed, could hardly move.
My MW told me it wasn't anything serious, just a sign your body is giving you to tell you to take it easier. I will be going to the physio if it gets worse, now it's only when I walk or stand for long periods of time.

Good luck and let me know how things go at the physio!

Sounds like it could be SPD/PGP. Physios don't really do a lot tbh. You can try swimming but no breast stroke. They can give you a support belt for bump & possibly lge tubigrip (Irefused it this time), and I was advised to get support belt from internet which in all honesty is the best.

I now have crutches as I can't walk very far without ending up in pain.

I am planning on trying to get a support thread going just need time to sit down & do it lol.

Physios can't give you many exs, all mine did last time was to ensure I did plenty of pelvic floor exs as this can help.

I was refferred a couple of weeks ago, seeing her again next week so will see if I get any exs to do.

If it is spd best to get seen & support as soon as possible as early intervention can slow/ stop progression & in some people the symptoms can go completely.
