I had an awful pain in my right side last week. Similar to stitch but worse! It just came on after I'd been sat funny on the sofa and felt like an elastic band was being pulled all the way round the side. The only thing that eased it was gentle massage for half an hour on that side. Think a muscle had gone into spasm or something. I've had it before in previous pregnancies so wasn't worried at all.

Oh yes! I have been getting this pain at night when I lay on my side......When I drink more water during the day, it seems to affect me less.....maybe it is dehydration??? Not sure.....but it is very painful....like a charlie horse in your side.....
