I'm Currently Feeling:

Is it too soon for maternity clothes?

My stomach seems so big for how far along I am and for the past 3 weeks I can only comfortably fit into my tracksuit bottoms. Obviously I hate going out everywhere in them as I only usually wear them around the house. The thing is, is it too soon for me to start wearing maternity trousers? I'm starting to think I'm carrying a lot of water because I have got a bump really quickly this time whereas my other two pregnancies I didn't start showing until I was about 20 weeks.

I've been wearing maternity trousers since 9 weeks along! My work trousers just didn't fit any longer. Had to buy jeans at around 13 weeks and recently all of my tops stopped fitting me. Not to early at all I think!

I had to give up my regular jeans at 10 weeks. They just got tight and uncomfortable.

I bought some maternity jeans and some black maternity work trousers at 12wks and have been wearing them since. I can't wear any of my normal trousers as they really cut me in half! Only just getting a bump, but I think, even if it's only bloat, there's no need to be uncomfortable at any stage!

I don't think it's early at all. From experience, it's best to be prepared anyhow. One day, you'll find that nothing fits you anymore and it sucks not having anything to wear

My jeans are getting very tight around my waist and I know in a week or so I won't be able to get into them any longer. I've started doing some shopping for that day!
