I know how you feel.
I had to retire all of my band shirts on the one side of the closet because I can't fit into any of them.
I actually found pretty decent pants that I have been wearing since I was 18 weeks. I managed to score another pair for 40 bucks less since they were on sale. No one would ever know they are maternity pants because you can't even see the belly band.

My problem right now is that I even my maternity tops are starting to get a little tight and the band under the belly is kinda getting on my nerves, so I sometimes wear my husband's Tshirts (mind you, he has a pretty impressive collection of band shirts) or a simple navy blue mat dress my mother in law got me.

Even though all the clothing I bought was on a tight budget it didn't deviate much from what I usually wear (dark colours only).

Don't stress out, it's not worth it.

See I'm a big girl anyway and I think it's going to be a while before I start getting a big bump and need new clothes. Most of my current stuff is too big for me neway so I'm hoping that I won't need much if any as I'm on an extremely tight budget too......

I have been on a tight budget too, and its been hard. In the beginning I thought I could just wear larger sizes, but I looked like a little girl playing in her moms clothes. It was ridiculous. Motherhood has been great for me, since they have sale racks, and can be really inexpensive. Also, my dad sent me money to buy clothes, instead of trying to pick something out for me. And I used some Christmas money to buy some new ones. My mom has been very helpful too, we will go shopping together, and she will pick me up stuff when were out. Modifying some old clothes of yours also sounds like a great idea tho! I've got so much stuff I was gonna donate cause I dont wear it anymore, maybe I should take a look at getting creative with it.

I hope you find some cute stuff hun, I know it can be very difficult to not feel cute anymore. I go thru phases of LOVING my bump, to being so tired of feeling like a freakin house. But soon LO will be here, and you will be able to go back to your normal stuff! =)

I was going to order some stuff from Motherhood this morning but had to run to take my kids to school. I must have been lucky as when I went back this afternoon, some of the things I wanted were put on sale By the time it gets here in a week, I will be in need of it

LOL Well I don't have any advice on the issue, only a laugh cuz the ugly clothes will never stop. Once you have that baby you'll get ugly clothes for em too. And obnoxious toys... and all other sorts of things LOL! Anyway, I hear ya about the maternity clothes- but you should check out Old Navy- if you have one nearby that has maternity. Or check oldnavy.com in the clearance. I haven't had money to buy ANY maternity yet but when I do I'll go there. You can fine tank tops and stuff that are very "neutral" meaning they aren't a particular style (like too preppy or anything). But I am sorry you're feeling down! You'll get huge for a bit, but once the baby comes the waistline will come back and it'll be easier! And if it helps any, I think you're freaking gorgeous! You have a very beautiful face (all that I've seen of you, lol)!

I'm on a tight budget too, Old Navy (I went online, they have a good maternity section) is great though, there not too expensive (and usually have stuff on sale) and they have some really cute stuff (I just ordered a bunch of shirts from OldNavy.com and I really like all of them. Mootherhood has some pants that aren't too expensive ($20-34) and they have a lot of sales too (though I went in store for pants, cause I need to try pants on).

What I did is I got the Belly Belt Combo Kit, which allows you to keep wearing your normal jeans and trousers. Granted, it's not as comfy as wearing maternity trousers, but I've had trouble finding good looking maternity jeans so with the Belly Belt I can still wear my old favourite jeans!

And I also got a black BandO Maternity Band, which I just pull over the opening of my jeans and it just gives a layered look, like wearing a long top underneath. And supports the bump, too!

Hey HH!

Have you tried H&M? They have a maternity section. Some of their stuff is quite cute.

This is a pretty old post I think her grandfather stepped in and gave her money for maternity clothes.
