Luckily, this is one symptom I've not had to deal with.
I've had minor bouts of heartburn here and there, but it's been bearable, and not bad at all.
Hopefully it stays that way!!

The wives tale relating it to hair is VERY not true! I had zero heartburn with my older kids and they were both born with hair nearly to their shoulders. My son had to have a haircut at 3 months old because it was in his face so bad.

I have been plagued with heartburn this time though unfortunately. I keep the anti-acids handy at all times now!

Am a bit scared to put it in writing, but no heartburn for me yet!!!

I have been wanting milk/yoghurt/icecream last thing at night though before I go to bed, so I might be keeping any acidity at bay from this. From what I understand though, heartburn isn't so easy to avoid, especially if its bad.

Friends are assuring me it is yet to come!

Oh, the joys!!!

The feeling of heartburn is as follows.... All of a sudden your stomach acid comes shooting up into your throat and you have to swallow it back down again very quickly, and it just keeps coming! I get woke up numerous times in the night with it and its so painful! I always have a sore throat because the acid burns tha back of my throat.

I tried drinking milk as i know this can ease it but the milk curdles in my stomach and makes me sick!

Last night i was gonna get the OH to take me to the hospital because the heartburn was so bad that i thought i must have a burst stomach ulcer or something!!!

You are so lucky to not have heartburn, its the bane of my life right now!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thankyou yup thats what i thought x

I havent had any heartburn yet and i didnt in my last pregnancy. The wives tale about the baby having lots of hair if you do get heartburn - well my son had a head of hair lol.
