Anyone NOT getting heartburn? - Page 2

I have been getting it too.. and yes, it means alot of hair, and unlike old wives tales, this has been proven

i get heartburn more often than not it was not so bad in my last pregnancy in the 1st tri but by the end of the 2nd trimester and all of the 3rd tri i had it bad but my baby boy when he was born did not have lots of hair. This time the heartburn has started early and i have had it since 7 weeks

I have it but not alot, then again I drink about 2-3 pints of milk a day so that probs helps

never had it in my life. But if I learned anything about being pregnant, it's the word "yet"

yep its true about the hair thing but only if you get heartburn specifically after 18 weeks (or around that time) as this is when baby starts growing hair on its head. If you get it alot anyway or for your whole pregnany then it would be hard to tell if it was baby having hair or not.

ive had none but then again when I was a baby I was as bald as my dad is now!! so im thinking the wee man will be the same... bless

No i havent dodged heartburn!! Every night i get it sooooo badly i am drinking gaviscon like its going out of fashion!

The feeling of heartburn is as follows.... All of a sudden your stomach acid comes shooting up into your throat and you have to swallow it back down again very quickly, and it just keeps coming! I get woke up numerous times in the night with it and its so painful! I always have a sore throat because the acid burns tha back of my throat.

I tried drinking milk as i know this can ease it but the milk curdles in my stomach and makes me sick!

Last night i was gonna get the OH to take me to the hospital because the heartburn was so bad that i thought i must have a burst stomach ulcer or something!!!

You are so lucky to not have heartburn, its the bane of my life right now!!!!!!!!!!!!!

*touch wood* I haven't had this yet, but I've only ever had it once in my life, so maybe I'm not predisposed to it? Feel sorry for all of you who are suffering x x

both my daughters were born with lots of hair and i had terrible heartburn with both of them. So far this time i have not had any heartburn though so maybe i will be having a little baldy
