loads of movement

well yesterday i didnt feel much movement but i got into bed last night and oh my god there was alot of movement, hubby was laughing coz my belly kept making noises.

i fell asleep with alot of popping and movement
i woke up when i felt earthquake and baby was moving, fell asleep baby was moving
i woke up a few more time and baby was moving and i woke up at 6
and guess what baby was moving.

it has slowed down now,but jesus baby is very active.
is it baby?
i can only feel the movements on the inside i cant feel anything if i have my hand on my belly
but
there is alot of popping and funny sensations,my belly just feels like its being churned up.

am i going mad or is it baby moving?

Ah yay!!! That is baby hun!! I started feeling like that at about 17 weeks and last night i finally felt a 'proper' kick. The one where you can feel when you put your hand on your belly.

I don't think i've slept since i was 17 weeks tho as my bubba was constantly awake all night.

Won't be long before you can rest your hand on your belly and feel your baby moving

thank you girls for reading and replying,
when i had the movement last night i got hubby to put his ear on my belly and listen to whats going on and he said it sounded like he was under water with lots of bubbles in there.
about an hour later after the movment started hubby turned to me and said are you hungry or is that baby moving.
i love feeling my baby move. its a wired sensation.

i love being pregnant.

that earthquake really shook me up i didnt like it at all.

Oh hun, where abouts are you? We didn't feel it down here at all.

Have you got a doppler thingy? They are amazing. Have had it for a few weeks now and love to listen to the heartbeat but the best bit is hearing the popping sounds when it kicks.

im in norfolk.my bed shook like mad and you could feel the waves of it go through the house,it was really loud too.

no i havnt got a doppler thingy but was gonna get one of those 'summer' ones that sits on your belly and you lasten through headphones.

i know it doesnt sound very nice but im not too bothered about hearing the heartbeat i just wanted to hear all the pops and the movement in there.

do you know if the 'summer' doppler thingy work.

Congratulations on feeling your baby move. Mines being really lazy lately and isn't doing much. Perhaps theres just not much space for it to move.

I slept through the earthquake.. it'll take more than that to wake me. Lol

All babies are different and they definately have their lazy days. I wouldn't worry too much unless you feel nothing for a few days. Just phone your midwife if you ever have any worries about baby movement. I think it's not worth risking. Only you know when something is wrong.. or even potentially wrong

no i dont feel worried but it seems to be alot of movement.
im enjoying it.

when people say call ur midwife, the only numbers ive got for my midwife is a non urgent number which is an answer machine and they only check it a few time a week and ive got an urgent phone number which is the maternity ward.

so really i cant get intouch with my midwife straight away its just a case of leaving a meassge and keeping ur fingers crossed that she will get back to you.
