Pain when walking?

This week I've been out twice (I'm generally housebound because of sickness) and both times I've really stuggled when walking.

I walked to the midwife on Thurs and it's probably just under a miles walk. It used to take me 20 mins max, could do it in 10 if I really went for it. On Thurs it took me a good half hour, I had to walk really slowly and I had pains in my hips and under my bump the whole way there. Same on the way back, had to walk really slow.

Today I went to the shop which is about 5 mins away, OH came too so was walking at an okay speed, not as slow as thurs but the whole time I was walking/stood up I had pain in the bottom of my bump, felt kind of like bubs was gonna fall out, and it was just really uncomfortable.

Bubs is head down, but not engaged.

Any ideas anyone?

had the same thing the doc said it was a uti

My urine was checked on Thurs and was fine though.

My GP sent a sample off on Tues to check for infection too, but not heard which means it came back clear

sounds like SPD (symphis Pubis Dysfunction - google it) to me.. this is how it affected me last time.. does it hurt when you turn over in bed?
ask your m/w about it xx

I have back/pelvic pain which is worse when I'm walking (especially up/down stairs), bending down, getting in and out the car. The pain happens in my lower back and pelvis - especially really low at the front below my bump.

I mentioned it to my midwife and she referred me to a physiotherapist who has diagnosed SPD. Might be worth mentioning it to yours.

did they check your bladder it could be a bladder infection

I posted a thread like this the other day, because im suffering the same, and my MW said its most likely SPD and if it gets any worse, then to ring her x

Thanks everyone. I will mention it next time I'm at the docs/midwife.

It does hurt when I turn over in bed too, and when I stand if I've been sat for a while. OH laughs at me because I end up making a weird squeaking noise because of the pain. xx

I had pains in my hips earlier on, but im grand for the minute, if its not uti maybe its the babys weight putting pressure on the joints esp if you have been having overnight growth spurts??? Do you use a support band if your feeling pain under your bump? or would it help xxx
