Is it wrong to apply for a job while pregnant and not tell them I am pregnant?

That is, unless I actually end up getting the job?

There's a job vacancy that is just IDEAL for me at the moment. I have been out of work and studies for a year and a half and really wanted a job.

The job is part time and full time, so if I got a chance at getting the part time, I'd really want to do it after the baby is born...

What should I do?

EDIT: It says on the application form:
"Health Standard: For a permanent appointment you must be able to give regular and effective service. You will be asked to complete a health declaration, and, if necessary, to attend a medical examination."

People cannot discriminate because you are pregnant. You could interpret this as is ok not to tell them.

It's not only OK not to tell, its highly recommended, so that you won't be illegally discriminated against (even though they will find some loophole to make it seem legit).

You don't have to tell them until you're 26 weeks. So if you get the job they will need to know by then, but you don't have to tell them now xx

I would be upfront it was me, think they'll respect you more for it! You do whatever you feel is best hun. They won't need to pay you mat pay even if they do give you the job so the only way they'll loose out is when you tame time off to have LO!! Lots of people are very understanding hun x x

I'm not sure about if it is 'allowed' but they can't not employ you on the grounds of your pregnancy. x
