I'm Currently Feeling: | I've put myself in a panic now I was really starving tonight so I cooked myself pie and chips. I've had a realy craving for mayoonaise (sp?) so put a big dollop of Hellmans on the side.
When I got about halfway through I noticed there was a bit of green in my mayo! I stopped eating it immediately but I'd already had quite a bit of it. Would that mean it had gone off? It was in date and has only been in the fridge a couple of weeks. It didn't taste off. I'm really worried I'm going to get something nasty now. |

Or could it have been that someone used the same knife in relish or something and then used it in the mayo?
I've bought things before where the expiry date was perfectly fine but there was mold. |

It was a nearly empty jar so it could have been relish although it probably looked more like mold. There was only a small piece of it in there (I did do an in depth study of my mayo ). DH said it look like a bogey, he always knows how to make me feel better |

Now that has turned my stomach!
I think you will be fine, but it's certainly gross when you eat something and halfway through notice it's just not right! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | don't panic. you've eaten it now. the job has been done. A bit of mould never hurt anyone.
just keep an eye on yourelf. drink lots of water. (not sure why but it always seems a good idea!) |

I'm Currently Feeling: | How are you feeling Snowball? If you don't feel unwell by now then you are probably in the clear! Don't things like that get you within 4-6 hours? |

I'm Currently Feeling: | For the amount you are on about I would say all is well babe and I really wouldn't worry. TBH I have mayo lots and I have never known it to go mouldy, so I would imagine it may have been something in the mayo rather than mould! Either way, it was so small, you will be fine I am sure! x |

I'm Currently Feeling: | It was probably some other food that got in there but I'm always eating bad things and so far (knocking on wood) haven't got ill from it. I'm the worlds worst cook and also have a habit of not checking dates on food before I eat it. I do worry much more now that I'm pregnant though. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | If there is something dodgy in it, your body will let you know. I had some dodgy chinese one night, and my body refused it and I threw it allll up. |
