Question

Huge


Hi i have just come from the bathroom not that you want to know and i was checkin out my bump and noticed in the last day i have just blown up i am slightly concerned as with my last daughter (god bless Amber Maree) she was born with muscle problems that was caused by having to much fluid i don`t want to bother my midwife or ob it might be just bub growing i mean i am 21wks it is expected to be growing quite a bit ok now i have rambled on i leave you to try and make sense of my noncence concerns

Try not to worry. I noticed my bump just suddenly seems to grow bigger, then it slows down again. If you're worried though you should probably make an appointment to see your midwife. She won't mind and it's best to be safe.

If you can feel the top of your uterus you could try measuring it yourself to see if it's large for you dates. At 21 weeks it should be between 1 and 3 cm above your belly button but at your belly button or a cm bellow is normal too.

thanks i am such a worry wart since having such a sick bub last time i never worried so much with her but now i just stress bout every little thing
