sciatica??? Feeling fed up.

Hi guys just feeling a bit fed up today. I am nearly 23 weeks gone and in the last 2 months have had bad pain in lowerback/bum area which is getting worse.
Think it could be sciatica, has anyone else had this? Is there anything that might help?

Hazel

Hi Hun!!

I have this, I'm 25 weeks and had it since about 20 weeks. It comes on and off with me but my midwife said not much can be done. She just said not to push my body if I'm in pain, try and relax where possible! I know this doesn't really help hun.

Hope you're feeling better soon x x

i get pain im my back bum area when im sitting down for too long. i thought it was my coxic (think i broke it years ago as it used to hurt like this) and i guessed that the weight of the baby was aggravating it?

I had this with my 1st pregnancy starting at 10 weeks untill 28 weeks. And low and behold this time too. I am constantly clutching my bum cheek when i get the shooting pain!!! People must think i am mad!
I saw my gp who said he could put me on strong painkillers but i choose not to have them.
Hope it eases soon xx
