Question

movement again..

i know that we have been thru this like a 100 times in 100 posts but i still dont feel comfortable with the baby's movements..
the last 3 days have been very slow, only a few times a day and no hard kicks just a rumble here and there
why is the the baby so sleepy? i feel so disconnected when it doesnt move about. i feel so confused. i know the doctor said not to count the movements, and im not .just making sure i feel at least something once a day, but i cant help feel worried thats its slowed down so much for quite a few days and become a lot lighter.

maybe its just the added stress of the golfball but i am worried

try not to worry too much hun... your little one will move when it feels like it. try talking to it a little or getting your partner to talk to it... i find my little one moves when my oh talks to it.

If you think that there is something wrong ask your midwife to give the baby a check. It's always best to be safe than sorrry!

Hope your little one wakes up soon

I'm sure everything is alright. Mine did that around 22 weeks as well. I would go get a coffee or a hot cocoa and sugar or caffeine her up to get her to move a bit more.

Try not to worry. Movements at this stage of pregnancy do vary and are not consistent. Remember too that your baby isn't really that big yet and anytime he/she moves, you may not feel all of them.

As you get further along and baby grows, those movements are more prominent to you.

But, if you do have concern and need peace-of-mind, do call your doctor

This is a very heavy growth stage in the baby's development. It will last about 3-4 weeks. Baby is working really hard to make their bones solid, and grow in length and (at the end of this time) start to put on weight.

This needs lots of sleepy time.

A kick is a kick no matter how small

My LO is a lazy baby as well. It is moving a few time through out the day, but not loads. It makes me worry as well, but I guess that is natural!

Oh hun, I worry every single day. I have come to accept that worry is now a part of my life. I will worry about this new little life for the rest of mine. That is what being a mommy is about. Give it a few more weeks and you will see the difference in your LOs movements. Remember your baby is still only about 8 inches long and about a pound in weight. It is still so little.
