i took my nan to get her normal flu jab on friday they asked if she was feeling ok, if she was pregnant, (what a joke shes 86) so then i said why? does it matter if your pregnant and having normal flu jab. And she said I would never give any any one pregnant any jab what so ever. So still don't know what to do.

Jentomo - I wouldn't take the advice of anyone stupid enough to ask a 86 year-old if she was pregnant. I recommend you to take advice from your own GP or midwife instead!

Pandermrix is the one with the adjuvant and thermisol (mercury) - Celvapan is the non adjuvant/thermisol free one....and that's the one that is hard to come by

hi all, i am a mum to be (12 weeks in!) and have been invited along for my swine flu vaccination. I am really in 2 minds about it because i am really scared that it affects my baby in some way. I am seeing mixed things about some mums to be who have went and other who have said no. Also did anyone see the apparent alterative to current vaccination for pregnant women? i caught something on the news last night.

what is everyone thinking??

Dx
