Hope you are feeling better char. We all know what you mean... gaining so much weight is bizarre. I didn't feel it so much as i do at the moment. My back aches and my thighs ache. I dearn't try the scales just in case they shout 'fat cow' back at me... lol

I suppose we just gotta focus on the good that will come at the end of it all... it aint over yet!!!

Since you're really fit you should get back to shape in no time...

I feel exactly the same as you hun, Ive always managed to stay to UK size 12-14 and I tried on some jeans the other day that wouldn't even go past my legs, it was so depressing!

It doesn't matter what I say, because I know it doesn't change the way you see yourself, but I think you've got a great figure anyway :P

I cant wait to start going back to the gym properly! I love my little boy so much but he is making his mum a bit fat!

i'd rather be a big wobbly mum than a skinny one who deprived her baby of nutirents.
My baby is full of nutrients. and cake.

plenty of time to get trim latr. or not. if I can be bothered with a little one to run around after!

eat healthily and treat yourself to naughties I say.

This is a precious time, and I for one want to enjoy it.

I'm a big girl anyway, so before I got pregnant I felt fat and horrible most days. At least now I have an excuse, I'm just a little worried about not being able to hold it in anymore and looking fat rather than pregnant......

I wouldn't worry about it, you'll soon be able to get back to normal.

Thanks for your kind words linzi that is really sweet of you.
I'm not trying to be selfish and i am still eating to give my baby all the nutrients he needs. However i'm just finding it really hard getting bigger when i have always been so physically fit and active. I still go to the gym 6 times a week, but can't push myself like i used to. Like you I just can't wait to get back to they gym properly.
I'll get my baby boy in there weight training with me heee heee. Muscle baby xx

you dont have to gym that much to be healthy. I know you're used to it but give yourself a break - you dont want to burn out!!

As long as we eat well and lead an active life (i.e. we walk around and do the shopping and sometimes take the stairs but not necessarily at the gym) I think we're fine.

Yes it is weird to gain weight and to be a different shape....but you might as well enjoy it. We're getting womanly shapes!

So what if we dont fit a size 10 jeans ever again..we'll be Mummies! How cool is that! Sod the rest.
Give yourself time to be pregnant. Dont be down, be happy x

Charlotte, have only been on here a few days but after seeing your pic, you are gorgeous hun!

I have been feeling exactly the same as you sweet. Some days i wear the biggest baggiest clothes i can find and just hope they swallow me up. Then other days i am proud of my babybumps and love them.

I have been feeling depressed about the thought of stretch marks too... but, well, s0d it!!! We'll have a precious little miracle to show for them.
