BH's and lower abdominal pain

Hey girls.

I've been having some discomfort tonight. My lower abdomen hurts and I'm having BH's every 2-4 minutes lasting a minute. I've been resting in my recliner for around 3 hours, have had 2 glasses of water, but it doesn't stop. This is my third baby and I don't remember this from previous pregnancies. Should I go to the bathroom and check my cervix like I did when I was TTC? When should I call the hospital?

The pain doesn't come in waves and it doesn't feel like "real contractions" at all. Don't have any weird discharge either.

mite be worth giving the maternity unit a quick call, certainly wont do any harm x

Not got any real advice, but could you contact your midwife / maternity assessment unit and ask for advice?

Those were my thoughts too, thanks

I'm going to try to just go to bed early and see if they ease up. If not I´ll give them a call.

I would definitely call the midwife. I have always been told to call if BHs don't stop with rest and water.
