Back from Doc's.....I got H1N1 Shot and Flu Shot Today!! UPDATE

Hello ladies,

I'm back from my doctor's...and got a routine ultrasound....I get one for every visit. My babies are doing great....one of them was just moving and kicking all over the place. ( I can feel them both already ) The other seemed to be relaxing a bit. Their heartbeats were the same...both low 140's

I got both vaccines today....after talking to a friend/co-worker who is a mommy of two, and the doc... I decided it was for the best. Mommy of two got vaccines during both her pg's and both her children are doing just fine.

I'm a elementary school teacher so I thought it was for the best....
Anyone else got vaccinated???

........................................................................................
UPDATE after29 hours.....see pg 2 for more details.

I feel just fine....and I am happy I got it....babies moving like normal and doing great too. No fever or anything.

hi there! i got the flu jab in september and have been worrying about the H1N1 ever since. I made the decision after talking with my trusted doc of 12 years to get the shot (she said the risk of getting the flu is FAR worse than the shot) and I figured I'd be getting my kid vaccinated, right? please keep us posted on how you are feeling in a few days. I'm not getting the H1N1 until nov 9 and would really appreciate hearing if you have any side affects. Best of luck!

I am scheduled to speak to my midwife next wednesday and decide then whether to get it or not. i have no idea! I do live in an area with several cases and a few deaths. Did your doc say what the risk to the baby is?
Keep us posted

Actually I just got a call from my dr's today saying they were getting low on the vaccine and that pregnant people were a priority, so they wanted me to come in and get it. Which I guess I'll be doing Saturday morning.

I think if someone would have asked me last week i would have said no, however since finding out about the twins, i have been feeling very tired and lethargic. I think i would have trouble fighhting off a fly at the minute let alone swine flu! Think i will be having the jab xx
