We have finally chosen baby names - Charlotte for a girl and Charlie (after my brother) for a boy.

We just asked our other 3 children what they thought of the names and our 6 year old son just shouted out he hates the name Charlotte and only likes Charlie for a girl not a boy. Oh no!

Think we might have to have another think on names

aww i think Charlotte and Charlie are lovely names . Have you asked your son about name ideas? You can get a feel of what kind of names he seems fond of. Who knows though, perhaps the two you picked out will grow on him

All three kids (9, 6 and 4 yrs) are going to make me a list of all the names they like but known my 6 year old the list could go on for years lol.

Either way one of them will be disappointed as oldest 2 want a sister and youngest wants a brother. Hopefuly find out on monday.
