heya! i had my 16weeks midwife appointment yesterday! she didnt check the heartbeat and she said she doesnt want 2 see me now till 25weeks!! is this normal??

Not sure i go for my 15 week cheek up tom, i did think they saw you every 4 weeks tho.

yer thats what i thought! every 4 weeks up untill like like late 10 ealry 30 weeks! arrgghh!!!

Interesting.

Right now I go into see my doctor every 4 weeks. Starting this week he looked for the heartbeat, but still to early and could not find it. But I know for each appointment after, he will be checking.

Also they check my urine to make sure everything is ok.

Have you had a scan yet as well?

at my 20 weeks beggining of feb was told she didn't want to see me till april and I will be thirty weeks when she sees me!!! with my first it was every four weeks

I saw mine at 16 weeks and then 25.. You can make an appointment in the middle if you want to get something checked but because you have your scan at 20 weeks it sort of is only 4 weeks between getting baby checked out..

I'm to see my community midwife every 4 weeks. At my 1st appointment with her at 12 weeks she checked the baby's heartbeat

I think they all run differently in how often they see people. I think I'm going in a couple of weeks for my 16 week check and not until I'm 25 weeks. I do think they should do it every 5 weeks but I suppose they just get too busy

yer i had me scan at 3 months now im 4 months! and she didnt check the heartbeat! i know i worry alot! this is my first! and i juz wanted reasuring! and i was really shocked wen she sed oh i wont see you know till 25weeks! i was like oh!

i had my 2nd (16 weeks) appointment on friday and she did check heartbeat.
but it may be different in your area.

i had midwife at 16 weeks,ive got my scan at 21 weeks and the midwife again at 22 weeks and then every 2 weeks after that up to 37 weeks then its weekly.
