Flutters turning to kicks

I've had flutters for over 3 weeks now, but the last couple of days I've had hardly any flutters. So this has got me panicked. I am thinking that maybe the baby might be kicking instead. I have weird sensations in my stomach and don't know if it's small kicks or not.

I have booked to see m/w next week to hear the heartbeat as the lack of flutters has got me worried. Last week the baby was super hyper and I felt flutters about 30 times a day. But the last 4 days I have had only a few tiny flutters but more of the weird sensations, not that I can def say it's the baby though, like I can with the flutters.

How do flutters turn into kicks? What do the first small kicks feel like?

I am getting panicked something is wrong with my baby

Ive had this over the last few days, ive only felt a couple of hard kicks, maybe it takes more energy to turn it into a kick

Like a little pulse is the only way I can describe it almost like when you get a twitch in your eye!

I reckon they are turning to kicks hon - try not to worry.

hi hon
I am due on the same day as you and my 20 wk scan is also the same day, how weird is that!!!

Sorry cant really help with the kicks query, I've not felt much myself yet - athough I think I may be experiencing flutters but not really sure, how often do they tend to happen?

Oh wow!!!
But I have been lucky to feel the baby move soooo early.

when my flutters first started they were only a couple a day. Until last week when I felt the baby flutter 30-40 times a day! it was very noticeable.

Now the flutters are gone but weird feeling is in my stomach. It feels heavier, sometimes like bubbles popping and then just a tiny prod on the inside. I just hope it's the baby. Bring back the flutters!!!

thanks everyone

My concern is that the flutters have stopped and so I think there is something wrong with the baby. So I really need some advise from those who had good flutters, many times a day and what it felt like when they were replaced by something else

Please help!

Its still a little early hun.. dont stress - it will happen.. baby is still so tiny.. I didnt feel proper kicks until 21+.. so youve still got a little while.. and I didnt really even feel proper flutters.. just went straight to feeling like a muscle spasm.

fluttters come and go. Drink something cold, lie on your side and you'll feel it again. Whatever you do, do not panic Plus if you're very active today, you won't feel it either - for some reason bubs likes quiet and peaceful when kicking/dancing.
